The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) is excited to announce the launch of a new, easier-to-use, early childhood stimulus website, Growing Forward. Growing Forward is designed to make finding funding opportunities easier for the early childhood community including:

T.E.A.C.H Scholarship - offers early childhood education program directors, teachers, and family child care providers working in a licensed program a pathway to pursue higher education

Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program - offers scholarships for early childhood professionals to participate in a federally-registered apprenticeship program to receive support for on-the-job training

Employer-Based Child Care Facility Grant - enables employers to construct, model, renovate, or retrofit a child care center on the site or near to the site of the eligible employer's property to provide licensed child care services to the eligible entity's employees.

Quality Improvement Incentive -a one-time financial incentive available to licensed providers that increase their program’s Colorado Shines quality from Level 1 to 2 or from Level 2 to 3-5

Growing Forward also has helpful resources on the Child Care Stabilization and Sustainability Grants application and reporting process.

Growing Forward can be found at the same web address as the former stimulus website, coecstimulus.com, and is also available in Spanish.
